The off the shoulder (OTS) look is all the craze right now. If you don’t own an OTS top, you need one. It’s just that simple. I’ve linked my top picks at different price points below. My favorite thing about the off the shoulder look is that it’s feminine, romantic and sexy. Bow chica bow wow… 😛 LOL… I can’t believe I just said that out loud. Anyways, when I wear OTS tops it always gives me that extra boost of confidence while I’m doing the shimmy in the mirror. Doesn’t it make you want to do that too?
So I have to admit when the trend started I wasn’t sure I’d jump on it because I couldn’t imagine myself wearing the top while caring for my kids, cooking, and cleaning. Well here’s the truth, I usually don’t wear OTS tops when I’m with my kids. It’s just not practical. How would I change diapers? Hmm, perhaps I should take a photo and put it on my insta-stories. OTS tops are amazing for date nights with my boo thang or a night out with my girlfriends. For now, I’ll keep wearing them till the next trend comes out.
I have a question for you guys though. Where do you buy your trendy outfits from? For the longest time, I’ve gotten most of my trendy items at Nordstrom, Forever21 or H&M. Now that I’ve started this blog I’ve noticed more online retailers like Goodnight Macaron, Shopbop, and Shein. Have you guys shopped at any of these online retailers and what was your experience like?
Alright, I’m keeping this blog entry short because it’s my birthday! I’m thinking a morning date with my favorite girl, Ari (my daughter) and a massage after lunch. The hubby and I will be celebrating in Vancouver B.C next week! Stay tuned for some new photos. He doesn’t know he’s the photographer for the trip. I guess he’ll find out when he reads the blog sometime this weekend. 😛
